Vedic Gem Consecration (प्राण प्रतिष्ठा विधि)
Follow this authentic 4-step Vedic purification ritual before slipping your consecrated gemstone ring or pendant on your finger:
Step 1: Preparation in Panchamrit (पञ्चामृत शुद्धि)
Mix raw cow milk (कच्चा दूध), Gangajal, honey (शहद), curd, and tulsi leaves in a copper or silver bowl. Immerse the gemstone ring for at least 30 to 45 minutes.
Step 2: Cleanse with Gangajal & Offerings (गंगाजल व धूप-दीप)
Take out the ring and wash it thoroughly with pure Gangajal. Light an incense stick (धूप) and ghee diya (दीपक). Offer red kumkum/sandalwood and unbroken rice (अक्षत).
